3… 2… 1… go! BORDA Las Americas kicks project in the community of Camotepec, Zacatlán, Puebla off.

Soon 365 kids, and their families, as well as 14 teachers, will count with the infrastructure to improve the conditions of their school and the community.

The Miguel Hidalgo Public Primary School in Camotepec, Zacatlán, Puebla state of Mexico, will benefit from the project "Improvement of Basic Infrastructure Services with Special Attention in Sanitation, Water and Hygiene”, which conceptualization was carried out by BORDA LAS AMERICAS.

Made up of 11 modules including new toilets, the existing ones refurbished, a DEWATS treatment plant and a school garden, the project will count with the support of the Municipality of Zacatlán and the Zacatlán Drinking Water and Sewerage Service Operator System (SOSAPAZ).

On November 14th, the works for the first phase of the project began by a shortl event attended by representatives of all the actors involved. On this phase, BORDA LAS AMERICAS will build a toilet module for children with different capacities and for teachers and will refurbish two modules of existing toilets.
